Desert-Motors Magazine was a digital and print automotive magazine with a focus on the photography and design/layout. Unlike most automotive magazines and websites, which are focused primarily on one type of automobile, make or model across the nation or even world, Desert-Motors is focused on the regional automotive community; from Italian supercars to custom motorcycles to Japanese compacts. The first issue was entirely photographed, written, designed and built by myself. With the second issue, I enlisted a handful of contributors to create content, but I was still the primary contributor and I was still entirely responsible for the layout and creation of the issue. Unfortunately, due to the incredible amount of work involved with creating such a magazine on my own, I abandoned the project and shifted my focus entirely to the Desert-Motors.com website and other work.

I’ve also designed flyers and other marketing materials for them, along with a number of posters for films they’re involved with (often working with little or no source material).

Ferrari Club of America – DR

PROJECT DESCRIPTION I worked with the local chapter of the Ferrari Club of America – Desert Region for years and was actually a board member at one point. In all of those years I designed and redesigned their website, built event websites, designed event logos, posters, flyers, t-shirts and event programs, including original content. I’ve also taken promotional photos for the club as well as contributed my photography to their monthly publication and website.

Battle for SkyArk

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Designed a logo for the film, along with the creation of a website and social media sites (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). Initially given about a half dozen options, the final logo is written in a strong, sturdy typeface and was given a distressed look to match the dystopian feel of the film. The website is a single-page site with parallax scrolling and multiple forms of navigation, giving you four different ways to access the content without having to load another page. You can view the site here.
